When I receive a call or email from you, I first conduct a needs assessment. I have found that by listening well to a client’s needs I can prepare an action plan to fulfill those needs without wasting your valuable time. I’m busy taking notes while I’m listening so that when I begin my search, it strictly fits your criteria. My strategy involves previewing all the homes that I believe may meet your standards before showing you these homes when we meet. My plan is to organize the showings in a sensible format, so that we are using our time in a logical and well thought out manner.
I always provide a client’s MLS (Multiple Listing Service) printout for you, as Buyers, so that you are able to peruse the information prior to entering the house we are previewing. The listings are numbered in the proper order, so we are all on the same page when we speak about the house. If the home is occupied, prior appointments will have already been made. I always recommend taking notes, especially if we are viewing several places because at the end of the day, one house tends to blend into another. We sometimes joke around giving each house a nickname, the cluttered one, the boldly colored one, the neat as a pin one, etc., etc.
Then the ball is in your court, and depending on timing, motivation and other factors that affect the writing of an offer, we continue our “relationship”. Some of my clients simply need an introduction to the community to see if it meets their needs. Some have a home to sell first, and some are already in escrow, anxious to find their next place to grow some roots. Whatever your situation, I am here for you, whether it be now or down the road a bit.
We stay in touch via many different methods. The first, and most popular, is a program I offer called Client Gateway. This service is provided at no charge to people who love what they have seen in this beautiful community, but are not quite ready to purchase. Via email, you will receive information about the housing market within Ocean Hills Country Club. You will be able to view homes that are currently on the market, price reductions, and even receive information when a house goes off the market. It keeps you in the loop so that you are continuously being informed of the happenings in the OHCC marketplace.
I am able to monitor your viewings and your comments if you see a particular property that appeals to you. Client Gateway is a tool that I have been using for a few years and my clients really appreciate receiving this up-to-date information.
